Manhasset New York is a village located in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island. It is situated within the Town of North Hempstead and just 19 miles east of Manhattan. With a population of roughly 8,000 people, Manhasset is a smaller community compared to most nearby cities.

Despite its small size, the village offers plenty of activities and attractions to keep residents busy. Manhasset is home to several notable sites, including a historic downtown district featuring many buildings that were built in the mid-1800s. The Manhasset Public Library, which opened in 1898, is still in operation today and provides local residents with a wide selection of books, magazines and other reference materials.

Manhasset is also known for its many parks and playgrounds, which offer recreational activities such as picnicking, swimming, basketball courts, and more. The town’s largest park is the Christopher Morley Park which includes two lakes and many trails for biking or walking.
